SAVE MERAPOH CAVES

INTRODUCTION

SAVE MERAPOH CAVES: MTB FUN RIDE JAMBOREE 2017 is created as a continuous  effort to Save Merapoh Caves and preserve its national heritage, which includes at least 145 precious limestone hills and dozens of rare species of flora and fauna. These national heritage is under the threat of destruction from a big-scale planned cement production project, mass logging activities for plantations and Gold Mining activities in Merapoh.

As part of the awareness campaign, we; the local people of Merapoh take the initiative to organize and promote sport and outdoor events in supporting local eco-tourism.

This SAVE MERAPOH CAVES: MTB FUN RIDE JAMBOREE 2017 is a Non Profit event which is organized 100% by the local people of Merapoh.  We are trying our best to protect our Caves, Jungles, Rivers and wildlife for our future generations.
